Page RPM Benchmarks

Every number below comes from publishers who submitted their own Page RPM through our . Nothing is estimated or purchased from a third party. Sample sizes are shown next to every average, since a "$40 RPM" based on one submission means something very different from one based on two hundred.

Methodology

Submissions are self-reported and anonymous. We only ask for a website URL to prevent one site from submitting multiple conflicting values (we never publish or share it). We don't independently verify revenue figures, so treat categories with a small sample size as directional rather than definitive. As the dataset grows, these numbers update automatically. There's no manual curation step.

Every average shown is in USD. Publishers can submit in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD or NZD, and we convert to USD at submission time using approximate exchange rates, so figures stay comparable across currencies rather than being blended together raw.

Some rows show a range instead of "no data yet", only where we have zero submissions of our own for that row. These are never our own measurements and never blended into an average; they disappear the moment a real submission comes in. Two labels, depending on how direct the source is:

  • Published estimate: a Page RPM figure actually stated by a real source.
  • Estimated from CPM: no direct RPM figure existed, so we derived one from a sourced CPM using this site's own calculator assumptions: RPM = CPM × ad units (3) × viewability (65%) × (1 − commission (25%)). That's roughly CPM × 1.46. This is why the country-tier breakdown below now has figures. The tier data we found was CPM, not RPM, so it needed this conversion; we left it out entirely rather than mislabel it until we had a disclosed way to convert it fairly.

Some categories (Law & Government among them) still show no estimate at all, usually because the underlying CPM data is skewed by a handful of extreme-value keywords and a generic conversion would produce a number that looks precise without actually being credible.
